My research interests are on the classification and validation of the personality disorders,
with special interest in the Depressive Personality Disorder. I also have
interests in the performance-based assessment, especially the Rorschach,
and in the empirical underpinnings of psychoanalytic and psychodynamic
theory and therapy. I am fully licensed in the states of Michigan
and Texas and maintain a small private practice in Novi, Michigan. My
professional affiliations include: the American Psychological Association,
the Society for Personality Assessment, and the American Psychoanalytic
Association (Research Associate). I am an Associate Editor for the Journal of Personality Disorders and am on the Editorial Boards of Personality Disorders: Theory, Research, and Treatment and the Journal of Personality Assessment.
