Biography:
My entry into academia followed nearly a decade of clinical experience as a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with developmental, learning, and behavioral difficulties. I can only hope that my clinical experience has significantly enhanced the quality of my instruction. My research has primarily focused on illuminating brain-behavior relationships in disorders for which learning and memory deficits have been core components. Currently, my research is primarily focused on understanding the neural substrates of learning and autistic spectrum disorders. I am particularly interested in social cognition and expanding our understanding of the brain regions that underlie social functioning and social competence.
