• The Commission on the Future of Instructional Delivery is charged with studying and preparing a report with recommendations addressing the future of instructional delivery at EMU. A broad range of issues are being considered, including issues related to instructional delivery on-campus, off-campus, and the use of the internet and multimedia. The Commission’s work should be completed soon.


• EMU's new general education program, dubbed "Education for Participation in the Global Community," becomes effective in fall 2007. The Board of Regents unanimously approved the new general education program.


• The Program Review Task Force was formed to review current practices and make recommendations for changes that will better align Program Review with other university decision-making processes such as the transition to AQIP and strategic planning.
