To Undergraduate Studies and Curriculum (UGS&C)
We are proud to present to you UGS&C, a newly formed unit as part of interim Provost Don Loppnow's realignment of Academic Affairs to bring the primacy of academics to the University. On this website are the collaborative areas of this academic resource at EMU:
- Academic Involvement - provides and administers programs which ensure academic progress and retention, and which houses creative, interdisciplinary, collaborative, and multi-generational programs.
- Academic Programming- provides administrative services in the life cycle of our courses, programs and curricula.
- General Education - provides the core of the undergraduate educational experience and prepares our students for study within the major.
- University Honors Program- provides enrichment opportunities for our University's most academically qualified students
On behalf of UGS&C, I would like to thank all those who came before who formed the vision and shaped the framework on which we now stand. A special thank you to all of you in UGS&C who participated in the retreat, and whose ideas developed the organizational structure for our future work.
