Are you finding that you are sort of enjoying your experience in the Chemistry Department, but are maybe hesitant to tell your friends and family? Are you wondering if there might be some sort of support group of kindred spirits? Check out the Chemsitry Club. It is EMU's oldest, continually-in-existence, club. See the club bulletin board opposite the reading room, or watch this page, for activities and membership information. In recent years, the Club has arranged trips to the Dow Chemical Research Labs in Midland, the St. Joseph Mercy Hospitial Clinical Research Labs, and the Ypsilanti Water Treatment Plant, presented Chemical Magic shows, both at EMU and at area schools, helped at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum during National Chemistry Week, organized Department picnics, and raised money for undergraduate research projects.
