The Nature of Science

Chemistry 406 examines the nature of scientific evidence, inquiry, hypothesis, models and laws. The development of science is put in the context of the structure and history of the scientific community. Interactions among scientists and between scientists and the rest of society are studied from an ethical perspective. Available only to secondary education majors in chemistry, biology, physics and earth science.
