Chemistry Tutoring is available on a drop-in basis in room 227B Mark Jefferson (inside the Chemistry reading Room) at various times nearly every day of the week. Stop by to discuss your chemistry questions with a student tutor or faculty member.

The Department of Chemistry is located in room 225 of the Mark Jefferson Science Building. We have staff offices and labs throughout the building. You can find literature about our pre-professional programs and much more in the hallway magazine holders outside the main office.

Location
Eastern Michigan University is located in Ypsilanti,MI, a community of approximately 50,000 people. Although Ypsilanti is close to the cultural advantages of Detroit (30 miles away), and Ann Arbor (7 miles away), it is largely surrounded by farmland and open countryside. Nearby opportunities for outdoor recreation, such as boating, fishing, hunting, and skiing, are plentiful.
