The Club meets every Monday in Room 201 in the Owen Building at 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM.
At the meetings we bring in successful entrepreneurs, review student business ideas and organize workshops to develop entrepreneurial skills. Free pizza and pop is provided!
Meet more than 30 highly motivated people - share, get inspired, and grow.
Events and Activities Include:
Speaker Series: Regularly bring in local luminaries to share their entrepreneurial success stories and failures
Workshops: On specific soft skills and the entrepreneurial process. Some of the topics presented include: Networking, time management, negotiation skills, creativity and innovation, presentation skills, and dining etiquette.
Annual CEO Conference: The Center hosts the Annual Regional CEO Conference every year. Over 150 students from across the state attend this event. Presentations from regional entrepreneurs cover topics like: Where are the opportunities; nothing happens till you put up your shingle, crossing the chasm and building your customer base; appropriate sources of funding and how to tap them,; building an A team; handling your Intellectual property and other legal issues; and other dos and don’ts to build your success story. The event usually has a lunch or dinner keynotes followed by contests on best web-site, best student business, best student leader, best business model etc.
Field trips /Trade Shows: Club members organize trips to different trade shows and entrepreneurial ventures to meet and understand how these ventures function and what challenges they face.
Mentoring: A pool of local successful advisors is available to mentor Future Entrepreneur's. These mentors work one-on one to help fine tune the business model and are a rich source of network to access needed resources.
Fund-raising: Club members organize various fund-raising drives (e.g. T-shirt sales) for trips and visits to events of interest to members.
