Fourth Annual Best Practices Award
The fourth annual Ernest and Jeanne Merlanti Ethics Program
Best Practices Award will be presented by the Merlanti Ethics
Program of Eastern Michigan University. The award will recognize
an individual considered to have a strong ethical orientation
in his / her business dealings.
Do you know an individual who works for a business, works
for your business, or runs his/her own business whom you consider
to be exceptionally ethical in his/her dealings with others?
If so, the Merlanti Ethics Program Awards Nomination Committee
wants to hear about this person. In order to nominate an individual
for this prestigious award, it is only necessary to e-mail
the committee with the following information:
I.
- The Name of the person being nominated;
- The Business the nominee works for,
runs or owns;
- The Address of the place of business;
- The E-mail Address of the nominee;
- The Telephone Number of the place of business;
If you are nominating someone else:
- Your Name;
- Your Association with the nominee;
- Your E-mail Address;
- Your Telephone Number
II.
Please also prepare a 200-300 word description with the reason or reasons the individual you are nominating is exceptionally
ethical.
The nominee must meet the following criteria:
- Nominee must be involved in business
- Nominee must be willing to be interviewed
- Nominee should exemplify business and personal ethics
- Nominee (or a designee) must be able to attend the
Eastern Michigan University, College of Business Honors
Banquet which will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008 at
the Eastern Michigan University Student Center Ballroom in Ypsilanti starting at 6:30pm.
Nominations
should be e-mailed (as an attachment) no later than Friday,
February 15, 2008 to cob_ethics@emich.edu.
