This workshop develops a basic foundation of leadership competency - knowledge and skills - to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of leaders who hold management positions. Many managers are selected for their positions due to their high performance in their respective jobs. People who are tapped for management positions may excel in their individual responsibilities. However, transition into managerial position also involves transition into new responsibilities that involve not only excelling with individual performance but also eliciting excellent performance from those reporting to the manager. How does a manager provide the necessary leadership
to obtain value added performance from leading others?
