Admission to the College of Business |

Students must apply for admission and be accepted to the College of Business (COB) to enroll in 300 or 400 level business courses.
Prospective transfer students must first apply for admissions to Eastern Michigan University (EMU) at the Undergraduate Admissions Office. University admissions applications must be accompained by official transcripts from all universities and colleges which you have attended. |

Minimum Criteria for Admissions to any major in the College of Business: |

1. Completion of at least 56 credits hours
2. Completion of the following courses or approved equivalents:

3. Minimum standards for overall GPA required for admission to the college:
2.5 GPA from Eastern Michigan University (EMU)

Graduation requirements: To qualify for graduation, students must maintain a GPA of 2.0 in the business administration core and a 2.0 in their major as well as maintaining a 2.0 overall GPA. |

Who Should Apply? All business intent students who are completing admission requirements and plan to enroll in 300 or 400 level College of Business courses should apply. |

Non-Business Majors
Non-Business majors need to apply for admissions to the College of Business. Completion of at least 56 credit hours and course prerequsites are required for enrollment in 300 and 400 level business courses. All non-business majors must fill out a student intake sheet to be approved by the college for registration in upper division business courses. No student majoring in a program outside the College of Business will be approved for more than 30 credit hours of course work in business. |

When Should You Apply
Business Intent students must have at least 56 credit hours and at least 14 of the 16 required courses to qualify for conditional admission for the following semester.
