EMU Theatre holds
auditions for students interested in Scholarships and
Service Awards.
Auditioning provides
the opportunity to be considered for up to $1500
per academic year.
Additionally, Auditionees
are invited to one of our Mainstage performances.

What do I need to prepare?
- Download the Registration Packet
(coming soon)
- Auditionees should prepare 2 contrasting
monologues (i.e. classical/modern or comic/serious)
not exceeding 2 minutes each (4 minutes total)
- Students intending to do a singing
audition should add a minute on to their total time
and prepare 16 bars or one verse from a musical selection.
- *Note: Students may provide their own
accompanist, work with a taped accompaniment,
or use the accompanist provided by EMU
Theatre.
