Literature Faculty JNT: Journal of Narrative Theory
The department offers programs and courses that are intended to enhance a student's understanding of English and American language and literature.  The programs are designed to offer students the chance to study a wide range of texts in English, from a variety of critical perspectives and with an attention to the historical and cultural contexts within which they were produced.  Those interested in teaching degrees must fulfill the requirements of the teaching programs located in the Teaching Majors section of the undergraduate graduation requirements.
