Introducing:Ima Peeples,

Mrs. Ima Peeples lives with her 25 year old daughter, Erma, in the Second Empire style house across from Miller Manor.
Mrs. Peeples is well known to city officials as a very vocal opponent of any expansion in the downtown area. She has long complained about the traffic, the parking on the street in front of her house, and the trucks servicing the nearby downtown businesses.
A few years ago, Mrs. Peeples led a group, Concerned Citizens of Rivertown (CCR), which successfully lobbied for the construction of a small park across the street from her house, at the corner of Biltmore and Elm.
