Village of Dexter Zoning/Parking Assistant
Assist in 1) conducting market research and analysis for retail, residential, office space, and mixed-use projects; 2) performing economic analyses of employment trends, industry sectors, tourism indices, etc.; and 3) producing content for reports and proposals, including written content and production-quality maps, charts, tables, and related exhibits. Advanced analytical skills, strong writing and oral communication skills, solid mathematic skills, and familiarity with analytical tools—including GIS (MapInfo or similar) and Excel—are required.

City of Troy Engineering Dept. Intern ($10/hr)
Assists the Engineering Department and the Environmental Specialist with
office and field tasks related to soil erosion and environmental water
quality. Inspects sites to assure compliance with soil erosion regulations.
Prepares, reviews, and documents required information for state and county
watershed program. Prepares and inputs a variety of departmental records
into a database. Assists in preparation of web page design. Collects and
maintains water quality data for the City's waterways. Assists in storm
system inventory (data collection and tracking). General office assistance
and related work as assigned.
