The Geology Program at Eastern Michigan University is exclusively undergraduate so there are plenty of opportunities for student/faculty interaction. Lecture sections and labs in the geology program are taught by experienced, well-qualified, full-time faculty who are actively engaged in research. Our faculty are dedicated to providing a high quality undergraduate geology education. Through our rigorous and dynamic programs, that emphasize both applied and theoretical aspects of geology, our graduates are well-qualified and have enjoyed considerable success in gaining industry jobs in southeastern Michigan and beyond. Our top students have gone on to some of the premier graduate programs in the United States.
