January 2001 to November 2001. Duties included a six-month assignment in designing an Emergency Management Plan. Primary duties included digitizing watershed boundaries and determining the floodplain with Map/Info. Integrating aerial photographs and the digitized floodplain to determine homes and properties within the floodplain for potential flooding. Also a four-month assignment in collecting the countys Township section with a Trimble GPS unit. Utilizing Pathfinder Office to modify point locations and transfer the points into MapInfo to overall enhance the countys parcel tax maps.
