Standard Security Plate Warning Label Small Security Plate

How does it work?

Each STOP security plate bears a unique identifying number, along with the toll-free number for anti-theft and ownership verification hotline. STOP tags link the plate ID number to the make, model, serial number and owner of the equipment it's affixed to. A call to the toll-free number thus yields quick and easy ownership verification.

If the computer is taken by a thief, who foolishly attempts to remove the security plate, the permanently etched tattoo below the plate displays the words "Stolen Property" in bold type, along with the toll-free telephone number. Police and/or potential computer resellers who come across equipment stripped down to the tattoo are immediately alerted that the item is possibly stolen. Police can then make a verification of a reported theft thus recovering and returning stolen property to rightful owners.

Keeping track of your equipment is very important. Everyday some 2,000 computers are stolen or lost. The number is growing at the rate of 25 percent each year. What can you do? Security experts agree that theft deterrence is the most important and cost-effective step you can take in preventing a very costly problem.

Theft Prevention:
STOP plates, and the permanent tattoo they leave on your equipment, act as a highly effective theft-deterrent by providing unmistakable proof that equipment is police traceable and/or stolen.

Asset Tracking:
STOP plates are imprinted with a scannable barcode, allowing automatic tracking of all marked items.

Equipment Recovery:
Stop plates link your lost equipment to STOP’s exclusive international tracking database and recovery system, accessible 24-hours a day via world-wide toll-free telephone support.

Simple solutions to deter theft:
STOP's unique, tamper-proof patented plate, with its barcode and indelible tattoo, offers a simple, inexpensive solution to major problems associated with overseeing personal computer equipment: Stop tags provide a laptop protection and security plan customized specifically for the mobile computer.

Stop Tags for personnel laptop computers can be purchased for $10.00 per tag .
