Mission Statement

Eastern Michigan University's Recreation and Intramural Sports Department (Rec/IM) strives to provide the campus and surrounding community with quality recreational facilities and activities which promote a healthy lifestyle through participation in exercise, individual and team sports, educational programs and recreational events.

The Rec/IM works closely with students and other valuable resources toward the common University goals of unity, student development, and overall excellence in higher education.

The Recreation & Intramural Sports Department is part of the Division of Business & Finance.
