ALL GROUP FITNESS CLASSES WILL BE FREE FOR THE FIRST WEEK (SEPTEMBER 14 - 18) - COME ON IN AND CHECK IT OUT !!!
The past few years have been such a wonderful turning point for the EMU Rec/IM as we have moved forward with our very own Group Fitness program! We have loved being able to provide free classes, fitness guidance, and information about personal training. We are currently offering a dozen different types of classes, so there is sure to be a class that you will find both fun and challenging.
This year, students and faculty/staff will have a small fee for group fitness classes: $8 for a one-day all-access pass; or $4 per week for unlimited classes, payable as a one-time fee of $60 for the semester. STUDENTS: Please take advantage of your ability to charge any Rec/IM fees to your EMU student account! (Note: you will not be able to register for classes for winter if you carry over a $100 balance.) Our other paid Rec/IM Members will have unlimited group fitness classes included in their membership fees.
We are consistently striving to improve our collaborations on campus, and increase your awareness about your health, mind, and body through nutritional seminars, fitness classes, and events on campus. We will keep you updated with fitness, nutrition, and wellness-related events and opportunities you can take not only in the Rec/IM, but all over campus as well. Our goal is to do everything in our power to make your goals a reality.
Print out the Group Fitness Registration Form , fill it out, and turn it into the front counter of the Rec/IM, or you can obtain one from the front counter when you come in!
Make sure you have your Student ID or Rec/IM Membership Card EVERY TIME you attend a class.

In the event that campus is closed, fitness classes will also be cancelled until campus is reopened. Class changes and cancellations will be updated through the Rec/IM website. In addition, if you are unable to access the schedule in PDF format, all classes are available for viewing on the Rec/IM Group Fitness Calendar.
