Interests and Expertise

Kristi has been teaching aquatic exercise for 20 plus years to a diverse group of
participants including students in the HPHP department at EMU as well as EMU faculty,
staff and retirees. Her classes incorporate paddles, hand buoys and noodles to provide a safe full body workout in a gentle aquatic environment.

In addition to teaching aquatic exercise classes, Kristi currently manages the employees
in the fitness room at EMU’s Rec/IM department. She also coordinates the First Aid/
CPR/AED training for the employees and is a co-director of the Summer Fun Camp
Program.

The Recreation & Intramural Sports Department is part of Operations and Facilities.
