Kristi oversees the Fitness Programs, Fitness Room operations, emergency procedures and is a co-director of the summer Fun Camp program for the Rec/IM Department. She also coordinates the First Aid/CPR/AED trainings for the student employees. Kristi has been a lifelong fitness Advocate and has been teaching aquatic exercise (H2O Fitness) for 20 plus years to a diverse group of participants including EMU students, faculty, staff and retirees. Her classes incorporate paddles, hand buoys and noodle to provide a safe full-body workout in a gentle aquatic environment.

My personal philosophy is that fitness is a lifelong journey that is different for everyone. We all are uniquely motivated and enjoy diverse activities. Physical activity provides benefits far beyond physical wellness including many other dimensions of health. Participants gain a realistic understanding of how taking responsibility for personal health will impact their ability to be successful in a host of environments. Try something new.
