Another school year is ending, and the Rec/IM Department at Eastern Michigan University is offering an exciting opportunity for your child to participate in a multi-activity day camp. The camp is designed to promote friendship and fun. The Rec/IM Fun Camp provides opportunities for your child to make new friends, have fun, develop skills, participate in art and crafts, and many other fun and exciting activities.

The camp is open to all children ages 7 - 12 (or entering the 2nd grade in the fall). It will be held at the Olds/Robb Rec/IM Complex and other surrounding areas on EMU's campus. Children should wear comfortable play clothes and court shoes. A swimming suit and towel should be brought for swim time. Parents sending their child for the whole day, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., should send their child with a lunch or money to buy food at our facility.

The camp is staffed by EMU students majoring in recreation, education, or related fields who have a great interest in working with children. For further information, contact Fun Camp Directors Kristi Teasdale or Martha Costa, at 734.487.1338.

Registration begins March 2 for all returning applications, and April 1 for first time campers.

No camp on weekends or July 4th.
