Residence Life and Residential Services welcomes all first year students to be a part of the Live FULL Experience Eastern Michigan University experience by choosing one of our residence halls for the upcoming academic year. All residence halls are conveniently located near academic buildings and dining venues to encourage social interaction, networking, and community involvement.
Traditional first year students are required to live on campus unless commuting from their guardians’ primary residence within 50 miles from campus.

For your dining pleasure, Eastern Michigan University provides you with a variety of meal plan options. You may use your meal plan at any EMU dining venue with an assigned monetary limit.
