About

Ellen Jayne Hine graduated from Muskingum University in 2010 with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. Her research interests include family crime, women's roles in the home, gender violence and social psychology. She is currently working on her M.A. thesis that looks at how mental health professionals view social support in the healing process of child abuse. Ellen Jayne has been working with Dr. Donna Selman as a Graduate Assistant since August 2012. Currently Ellen Jayne is also working at a private mental health agency working with at risk children in the inner city of Toledo.  In her spare time, Ellen Jayne enjoys ballet, running, listening to music, camp fires with her friends, and spending time with her one year old niece, Violet.
