MISSION STATEMENT
In support of the overall goals of Eastern Michigan University and University Marketing and Student Affairs, the mission of the Office of Student Judicial Services is to create an effective living and learning environment by designing policies, providing a disciplinary process, and conducting programs that foster ethical development, personal accountability and civility toward others.
VISION
The Office of Student Judicial Services will maintain a campus environment that is conducive to learning, protects the university's educational purposes, maintains reasonable order on campus, and defends the rights of all member of the University community.
RESPONSIBILITY
The Office of Student Judicial Services is responsible for three major functions:
1. Administration of conduct policies and procedures.
2. Handling of student employment grievances.
3. Investigation of student-to-student sexual harassment claims.
