About the Program

The Aviation Management Technology program is designed to prepare individuals for entry-level management and supervisory positions in aviation. Based upon the need for business skills in aviation management and the premise that aviation technology personnel need not begin as aviators or mechanics, the program had been developed with a foundation of aviation-related skills and basic business course work.

The program was developed with the active help and input from the aviation industry, including the Cessna Aircraft Company, General Motors Air Transport, the FAA, the Michigan Department of Aeronautics, and others.
