About the Program
(For additional information, please visit our program web site cot.emich.edu/commtech )

Communication Technology is one of the fastest growing, most exciting majors at Eastern Michigan University. Because the Communication Technology Program was created to meet the changing demands of the world of work, students enrolled in the program will fine a unique blend of technical, business and communication classes.

Students will take a broad approach to learning how to integrate business, manufacturing, media, computer science, and communication technologies. And, students will learn how to apply that technology to 21st century communication needs.

This program, offered jointly through the School of Technology Studies and the Department of Communication and Theatre Arts, provides an excellent background for students who seek careers as managers of communication-based industries.
