Program Mission

The Hotel & Restaurant Management (HRM) Program is committed to providing a comprehensive program that focuses on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical work experience, and implementation of management strategies needed to succeed in the Hotel and Restaurant Industry.


HRM is a comprehensive program that integrates principles of hotel & restaurant management with club, resort, meetings, and events management. The HRM program provides experiential educational opportunities in a wide variety of hospitality organizations through co-op or internships. A wide variety of minors although not required are available within the university to supplement the HRM Major.
