The EMU Student Center


Built in 2006, the Student Center is the ideal location for your conference sessions. With over 28,000 square feet of available meeting space, the Student Center can accommodate a wide variety of events ranging from a breakout session for 10 guests to a large scale conference for 1,000 guests. Our 13 meeting rooms can accommodate all types of seating arrangements.

We feature:

  • Personalized event planning and catering services
  • Full service catering menu available for breakfast, lunch, cocktail receptions and dinner
  • Certified Executive Chef with 20 years of professional experience in the hotel industry

Residential Services

EMU provides onsite accommodations for you and your guests. Our residence halls are in very close proximity to the dining facilities as well as the Student Center. Our residence halls feature a variety of the following:

  • Single or Double Occupancy rooms
  • Community or Semi-private bath
  • Wireless Internet in hallways and most common areas 
  • Ice machines, vending areas and laundry rooms

Occupancy/ Pricing per person

 Single—$22.00
One night stay - $24.00
Double—$16.00
One night stay - $18.00
Residential (4 or more days required) - $15.00
Village Residence Hall—$50.00 per person, 4 guests per suite, (2 night minimum required)
Availability is limited
The Towers—$35.00 per person
1 guest per room, full bed, shared bath
Linen—$5.00 added to all nightly rates (optional)

Dining Services

At EMU, our staff takes great pride in offering a menu that is balanced and full of flavor for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! They work to create menus that are sure to satisfy everyone's taste buds. Our newly remodeled facility is a cafeteria type setting that offers home-style entrees, grilled foods, soups, salads, fresh fruit, create your own stir-fry, and of course dessert.

Have a dietary need or food allergy? No problem! Our staff is able to accommodate requests and make sure your guests have a safe and enjoyable dining experience.

Breakfast—$6.00 per person

Lunch—$7.10 per person

Dinner—$8.75 per person
