Title: Ezone Gaming Center Attendant
JOB SUMMARY:
The attendant is responsible for all operations of the Ezone Gaming Center. This person is responsible for the appearance of the room and required to deliver great customer service while on shift. The attendant will be involved in the planning of the video and card game tournaments as well as advertising during the Fall and Winter semesters.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Check the Ezone Log at the start of each shift for information regarding your shift.
• Perform the following money transactions:
• Video game sales
• Play-time sales
• Check and monitor inventory daily.
• Membership and promotional sales
• Monitor membership use
• Responsibly and ethically handle cash, credit card sales and coupons.
• Cash in and cash out and the beginning and end of shit, respectively; reconcile register sales and deposits.
• Usher customer to console and load in video game of choice.
• Provide customer assistance as needed.
• Log and manage customer play times.
• Maintain the appearance of the gaming center at all times by completing the Ezone SHIFT CHECK LIST, including the maintenance of all equipment and board games. Ensure enough cleaning materials are available. Record any concerns in Ezone Log.
• Keep store equipment, furniture, sales counter area, counter tops, and break room clean.
• Immediately report any broken items and/or maintenance issues to the Ezone Manager.
• Act as host for special events (e.g., B-Day parties, Campus Life events, etc.)
• Manage any troublesome situations in a professional and calm manner. Report incidents to the Ezone Manager. Record incidents ALL incidents in Ezone Log.
• Attend bi-weekly staff meetings.
• Comply with Ezone store policies and the Student Center Handbook.
Qualifications: Must possess excellent customer services skills and attitude. Must be in good academic and judicial standing, with a GPA of 2.50 or higher. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Excellent problem solving skills. Enjoy working in a lively and busy environment. Knowledge of gaming consoles, video games, and gaming experience preferred.
Work Schedule: Work 15-25 hours per week during store hours which includes evenings and weekends, starting August 2009.
Pay Rate: Starting pay is $7.40/hr. Increases in pay depended on good performance evaluations.
