Business and Finance

The Business and Finance Committee acts as a liaison between Student Government and Student Organizations regarding financial matters. Any registered Student Organization or Club Sport can request funding from the Business and Finance Committee to subsidize the cost of a program, or the purchase of necessary equipment for a club sport.  

 

Student Organization & Club Sports Monetary Allocation

To request funding, a representative of the Student Organization must complete the web training and fill out an Allocation Request Form located on our web services portal. A link to the these services is below. Stipulations as to what the committee can and can not fund are included in the training. Once the forms are submitted, a representative from the organization must attend a Business and Finance Committee meeting to present briefly and answer questions. A table of the times of the Business and Finance Committee, and the corresponding deadlines is listed below. In order to be placed on the agenda for consideration at a particular meeting the organization must have filed their appellation and supporting documentation by the deadline. All allocation requests are subject to the approval of the committee and no money is guaranteed.
