| universals exist – and so beliefs – independently of the particulars that instantiate them. there are three tables in this space. a cluster of quiet nuns occupies two of them. the third is set for dinner. for sheer love of the lamb, a wolf sits in front of a generous portion of stew. a table might or might not refer to the general concept of what to eat implies. table is a desperate word for a daily bodily function. do I believe or do I not believe that geometry expresses the pure form of the intuitive faculty for testing things visually? nuns are transcendental. they are a cluster of clouds. yet, they too every so often relate to the grounds and motives the world experiences. they waste their loins, all life long they wear white clothes. universals are the space’s complexities. the wolf is noticing the nuns’ insubstantiality. what if their size doubles? extra tables will be needed. |
