POSTSCRIPT

Here is the idea, and here is the image. The two must dwell in the same trajectory of syntax, otherwise I produce philosophy or porn. Philosophy alone leads to suicide, porn to murder. Together they inaugurate a contract in which such deaths are forbidden, in which the immaterial and the material seem to co-exist without lines to demarcate the differences. To make those differences visible is to free the lines from their hiding places. They hide behind the hand/mind of the writer. I want them to stay out front, where their presence is unmistakable and their intentions are clear in the violence they're meant to inflict.
