Le Club de Français (French Club) is a student organization at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI.

Our purpose is to promote the French language and culture among college students at EMU through many different activities, including :

_ Meetings at least once a week, with at every session the introduction of various subjects (current events, art, society, history, literature, gastronomy...) to discover through discussions, games, videos, food tastings...

_ The publication (approximately every two weeks) of a French newspaper on campus called La Gazette written by students and other members wishing to participate.

_ The selection and presentation of French films at EMU's Foreign Languages Film Series.

_ Keeping up-to-date an informative Website in both English and French which includes many ressources and presents our activities to students.

_ Updating an Information Board located in Alexander (facing room 214), which features articles from the American press related to the francophone world, promotes cultural events, and also advertises various resources available to students.

Le Club de Français is an excellent opportunity for students and everybody interested in the French language and culture to share and cultivate a common interest for the francophone world. Come join the Club and participate to all of our fun activities !
