La Gazette
is the first French newspaper at Eastern Michigan University.
Created by Le Club de Français, its goal is to offer articles in French or related to the French culture to students and members of the university interested in the French language and culture. La Gazette is also designed to give them the opportunity to share their interest through the writing of articles, poems, comic strips...
If you would like to participate to La Gazette, please send your writing(s) to clubdefrancais@gmail.com . All material sent must be either in French about any subject or in English about an aspect of the French culture in order to be published. The due date to submit your writing(s) for our next issue is: October 2005.
You can find our newspaper on the Information Board located in front of room 214 Alexander or download / print out a copy HERE (pdf format).
Our first issue came out on Wednesday, February 2nd 2005. La Gazette is published approximately every two weeks in the Fall and Winter, and is introduced at the meetings of Le Club de Français.
