    Meeting Minutes

    I. Call to Order: 8:05 p.m.

    II. E-Board Attendance:

    B. VP Internal Affairs: Position Available
    C. VP Finance: John Feldkamp
    D. Chairman of Philanthropy: Absent
    E. Secretary: Brigit Locke
    F. Historian: Lu Chang
    G. Social Chair: Absent
    H. Graduate Advisor: Absent
    I. Webmaster: Jenny Giovia

    III. Old Business:
    1. Requirement for becoming a HSA member (1 meeting/semester, 1 event/year, & $5 dues)
    2. Build-4-Bucks
    a) Tues., Nov. 14: Habitat raised $2400 from the 4 teams who participated
    b) Congratulations to the Education Builder's (Lu, Brigit, Katie) who took 1st place

    IV. New Business:
    Semester Wrap-Up, Wed. Dec. 14
    • Is planned to be held from 6:30 to 8:30 in Wise
    • Come for free food (Pizza, Pop, Cookies)
    • Come to wrap gifts for family/friends (We'll supply the paper)
    • Come to socialize!
    Ice Skating
    • HSA will go ice-skating in January
    • More information at the next meeting
    Initiation - (postponed until Jan.)
    • HSA will be collecting dues the rest of the month
    • A locaton for the even has not been determined
    • Certificates will be provided

    V. Gallery (Questions, Comments, Concerns):
    Jim Grinias: Beyond Words will be held on the first floor of Wise for MLK Day in Jan.
    • Its purpose is to raise student awareness of issues of equality through photos and demonstrations.
    • Wise Hall Residents will be responsible for the room on Racial Inequality
    • Honors students can receive community service for assisting with this event, and ideas are welcome as well.
