All exhibitions took place in the Student Gallery (Rm. 236) inside the EMU Student Center unless otherwise noted.

Installation-based artwork by 12 of EMU's graduate and undergraduate art students from media ranging from textiles to ceramics to sculpture.
This annual exhibition showcases the best of the best of EMU's undergraduate art students.
An event open to all EMU student which took place during orientation. We took headshots of students, digitally manipulated them, then gave them the opportunity to create their own self-portrait with the aid of a digital projector.
Our second event of the semester, the Drawing Marathon was an idea appropriated from Univeristy of Texas, Austin. Student, artistically inclined or not, could create whatever they liked all night long. Highlights included fighting robots, giant murals, and a huge mess.
During the summers of 2006 and 2007 two classes traveled to London and Paris respectively to study and create art. This exhibition showcased the work those students create either during their travels or upon reflection when they returned.
Artwork inspired by and related to toys, childhood, and more.
"Revise" was an exhibition created by students in EMU's Advanced Graphic Design course. The exhibition was meant to reflect the progression of the education of a graphic designer beginning with the black and white grid.
Traditionally the Student Show took place at the end of the winter semester but this year the IGG was given the opportunity to use the University Gallery during the fall semester to host the Student Show. This annual exhibition showcases the best of the best of EMU's undergraduate art students.
While the Student Show exhibited the best Eastern students had to offer, the Thumbtack Show showed how they got there by covering the gallery with sketches.
Joint BFA exhibition by sculptors Julienne Oberts and Cyntha Burgoyne. Their work focuses primarily on women's issues but each artist addressed the topic not only through a wide range of materials but also through their differing perspectives found in each sculpture.
