WELCOME TO INDSA HOMEPAGE
The Indian Students Association (INDSA) at EMU is a non
profit organization aimed at creating a home away from home, for
students from the entire Indian subcontinent. INDSA is a platform for
sharing our rich culture and traditions with other Indians and
non-Indians alike by organizing cultural events and social gatherings
on a regular basis, especially during festivals and on auspicious days.
The strength of our organization lies in the unconditional support that
we all have for each of our members, and our determination to strive
towards the integrity of our strong values with a western outlook.
Few Things we do:
- Provide unbiased guidance to prospective student in
deciding if EMU is the one for them.
- Guide new incoming students before their first visit
to the university.
- Provide Airport pick-up to new students.
- Help new and current students to find room mates and
housing.
- Organize events to celebrate Indian Festivals.
- Organize sports events.
Important Information for New Students
Coming to EMU:
Please
check your I-20 for any
conditional admission. Some students might be asked to take ESL (english as second
language) Courses. If your TOEFL
Score is less than 213 it is better to retake TOEFL or you WILL be
required to take ESL Courses thus
increasing required number of credit hours to graduate and
you will end up spending more money.
