The Eagle Filmmakers Association...

The mission of the Eagle Filmmakers Association is to create an annual film festival open exclusively to students of Eastern Michigan University. In fulfilling this goal the EFA seeks to celebrate and support the talent,
artistic vision and creative practice of student filmmakers in the EMU community. We hope that this begins a proud tradition of celebrating student filmmaking here at EMU for years to come.

Our vision is to raise the bar of expertise and creativity at Eastern by developing a forum where students can display their talents to their peers and the community. Our mission is to encourage and promote Eastern Michigan University and the College of Arts and Sciences by:
  • Showcasing and promoting the work of student film and video makers and film artists to the University and local community audiences.
  • Encouraging students to become better video and film artists by acknowledging personal achievement.
    • Energizing future students by showing them what our school has to offer.
  • Strengthening ties with the local business community.
