    How to Join

The most simple way to be a part of student government is to attend a committee meeting. Committees are the workhorses of SG and membership is simple. In the Political Action, Business and Finance, and Student Relations committees, to become a voting member you need only attend two consecutive meetings. If you have any questions regarding specivic committees please be sure to either visit their respective page on this site or by contacting any Executive Board member.

If you would like to become even more involved with Student Government, consider running for the EMU Student Senate. All legislative power in Student Government is held by this body and as a Senator you will be able to direct SG towards any issue you feel is important. In order to become a Senator you must attend one committee meeting, one full Senate meeting, collect fifty supporting signatures, and fill out the application below. For any questions please contact Sam Cash the speaker of the Senate.
