TSA@EMU History

TSA legend has dated back many years ago. Although we do not have a permanent TSA office, we still get along well in organizing our association’s businesses. Apart from accommodating new Thai students and gathering all members, TSA also actively participates in social endeavors including exhibition and presentation about our home country, Thailand. Prove of our success is a positive feedback from both Thai and foreign participants. From our on-site interview during the major events, we found that it was a worthy experience for Thai members who joined those events and it was an impressive presentation to foreign guests especially those who were interested in Thailand. It was our delight to be acknowledged that some of them even planned to visit Thailand in a future.

We come this long way because of cooperation among all members under supervision of TSA President--the most devoted friends--who managed our own events and coordinated with our neighboring TSA@U of M in representing Thai culture and civilization. Here is a special thanks to all of them.

We realize that in addition to our internal members, TSA@EMU would not be successful without guidance and suggestion from some external consultants. On behalf of Thai students at Eastern Michigan University, TSA would like to express our gratitude to the following persons who always support the association’s activities and encourage us on fulfilling our mission.

Dr. Raymond Hill Present TSA advisor

Dr. Linda Woodland Former TSA advisor

Mr. Paul Dean Webb Director of Office of International Student

Their kind supports are certainly appreciated, and their consistent presentations in the TSA’s events are the valuable additions to the association’s activities.
