Four general principles apply to the thousands of individual applications of Eastern Michigan University's identity program.
The use of the University's name, signature, seal and logos must reflect positively on Eastern Michigan University. For this reason, professionally printed pieces are not to be photocopied for external distribution.
The University is to be emphasized rather than individuals, groups or departments.
All uses of the identity program must be consistent and in good taste.
Eastern Michigan University has only one identity program. The program is outlined and defined in this style guide.
