Contrary to the opinion of many teachers of English, sentences ending with prepositions are not grammatically incorrect. They may at times be awkward, but not ending certain sentences with a preposition produces stilted, over-formal and just silly sounding language.
This is just the sort of English up with which I will
not put.
--Winston Churchill
While it is still advisable to reword a sentence ending
in a preposition, it is also equally necessary to rework
language that relies so heavily on this antiquated rule
as to make trouble for a reader.
