Social Work: Undergraduate Admission

The mission of the Social Work Program is to teach students to work with poor, oppressed, vulnerable and underserved populations. The program prepares students for culturally competent and gender sensitive practice in community service agencies and organizations which serve our target populations.

Admission to the Social Work Program is selective and granted to those students who demonstrate interest, commitment, personal values, interpersonal skills, and academic ability desirable for successful social work practice within the context of our mission. All students who are admitted must be willing to adhere to the Social Work Code of Ethics.
