The School of Social Work has developed the Friday Seminar Series for continuing education courses to social workers in the community to help in meeting the requirements under the new social work licensing law, which requires 45 hours of continuing education every 3 years.

Continuing education courses cannot be applied toward the social work undergraduate (BSW) or graduate (MSW) degree programs at Eastern Michigan University.
