META: The Mother of all Languages.
Sponsor: Professor Susan M. Haynes
META
is a programming language used to help develop
new programming languages. This presentation
gives a design overview of META's development
including: the components of a compiler, regular
expressions (RE), non-deterministic finite
automata (NFA), deterministic finite automata
(DFA), META's syntax, and examples of why we may
want to design new languages.
