Korean Food Habits and Demonstration of Sushi Rolls.
Health care practitioners need to be sensitive
to the traditional food habits of many groups. Korean cuisine,
influenced by Chinese cuisine, is distinctly hearty Asian fare
that is highly seasoned and recognizable as Korean by its flavors
and colors. Sweet, sour, bitter, hot and salty tastes are combined
in all meals. Sushi rolls, featuring rice flavored with beef and
vegetables in a bean curd wrapper, will be prepared and sampled.
