American Culture.

Many Americans tend to deny that a distinctively American culture exists. On the other hand, specific patterns of behavior are often identified and described as typically American, in fact, "as American as apple pie!" By using an anthropological model of culture, this poster explores such a process of self-identification, and highlights some core characteristics of "Americanness" as they are expressed in various forms of everyday behavior.
