Increasing Student Awareness of Poverty Around the World

The intention of our team’s research project was to bring attention to and increase student awareness of the alarming growth of global poverty. We shall discuss how we incorporated an overview of the problem and of the global statistics into a colorful and interactive game; used case studies to highlight the history and cycles of poverty; examined global inequities and possible solutions, and utilized personal experiences to highlight the continuing struggles with poverty.
