LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered) Elders

Society anticipates a dramatic increase in the number and proportion of older Americans within the next few decades. Current research estimates that there are three million gay and lesbian Americans over the age of 60 and that this number will double by 2030. This research examines some of the unique issues to be faced by LGBT elderly and also explores issues that have not yet been addressed by social scientists.
